Please OPPOSE any 'Marriage Amendment' to the PA Constitution

As your constituent(s), I/we urge you NOT to co-sponsor any “Marriage Protection Amendment” and to oppose it if it comes up for a vote. This discriminatory amendment would deny legal protections to same-sex families, as well as ban civil unions.
Pennsylvania already has a law that denies civil marriage for same-sex couples. The proposed amendment is unnecessary and hurtful to all Pennsylvanians – including unmarried opposite-sex couples.
